Calvary Pointers Morning Showers 27 July 2023 Devotional by Reverend Ajisafe Opeyemi - You Will Be Whole Again
You Will Be Whole Again
Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
You might have experienced terrible storms that almost shattered your life. Troubles on every sides, fiery darts here and there, your rays of hope are dashing out. And you are very displeased with almost everything about your life. Relax beloved, God is doing something in the background for you. Yes, you heard me, He is fixing your life!
You might have encountered many suppressed emotions with teary eyes, so broken into pieces and not in anyway producing healthy growth. You seem empty and dormant and have encountered a painful break down. Our loving God is going to take our pieces and begin to fasten them back together again.
God is working and rebuilding you. Piece by piece He's collecting and not abandoning you.
Your life may not look like you thought it would, but that doesn’t mean God isn’t working. It doesn’t mean God isn’t good.
If you are living in a “shattering” season, just know your story isn’t over. I know you see the scattered remains on the floor and wonder how you will ever be made whole again—this is where we must trust God’s timing and God’s way.
It is tempting to want to fix everything yourself, but I beg you to resist. His plan is ALWAYS better than ours. A book is never written in one version. It must be edited, re-edited, and edited again; rewrite after rewrite until it is finished, until it is as good as it can be.
This morning, let the Author and the Finisher of our faith continue to write your story. Let the Creator keep creating. Let the Potter keep molding. Let the Artist keep drawing. It may look broken to you, but God sees endless possibilities; clay ready to be shaped and molded, a blank cotton for His masterpiece, and an empty page for Him to compose your story.
Isaiah 64:8 KJV - But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Give Him the privilege of rewriting your story. Come to Him. Trust in Him. Lean on Him. Follow necessary instructions from Him. Don't be too beclouded that you're not seeing Him in your situation.
Remember, Apostle Paul says in Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Good Morning Beloved, You will be whole again!
