God Will See You Through
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31 NLT
Life may be falling apart but relax, God will see you through. Through the ordeal of betrayer, abandonment and false accusations, Joseph never gave up on God.
Obviously, God had a plan for Joseph. His journey to greatness must be well processed to stand the test of time and make his name written in gold.
He was looking powerfully radiant in His garment of many colors, specially designed for him by his father. A journey down to Egypt, he would become a slave, oh no, he didn't see that in his dreams.
Joseph’s life was looking up. He had a new coat and a pampered place in the house. He dreamed his brothers and parents would look up to him. But what goes up must come down, and Joseph’s life came down with a crash. He was pulled down by his siblings. Thrown down into an empty pit. Let down by his brothers and sold down the river as a slave. Then led down the road to Egypt.
He was stripped of name, status, position. Everything he had, everything he thought he’d ever have— all gone, just like that.
Just like you have experienced. Have you been down in the journey of life? Down financially, down mentally, down spiritually, down on your luck, down on your life, down on your destiny, down to Egypt? Peradventure, life has pulled you down.
Remember, Joseph arrived in Egypt with nothing. Not a penny to his name. His family tree was meaningless. His occupation was despised. His dreams and aspirations were just there in the cooler.
No credentials to stand on. No vocation to call on. No family to lean on. He lost everything, with one exception, his destiny.
Through those odd dreams, heaven had convinced him that God had plans for him. The details were vague and ill-defined, for sure. Joseph had no way of knowing the specifics of his future. But the dreams told him this much: he would have a place of prominence in the midst of his family. He held on to his dream for the life jacket it was.
How else do we explain his survival? The Bible says nothing about his training, education, superior skills, or talents.
The Hebrew boy lost his family, dignity, and home country, but he never lost his belief in God. Walking through the desert toward Egypt, he resolved, it won’t end this way.
God has a dream for my life. While wearing the heavy chains of the slave owners, he remembered, I’ve been called to more than this. He was dragged into a city of strange tongues and shaven faces, he told himself, God has greater plans for me.
God had a destiny for Joseph, and the boy believed in it.
You may be going through the same experience of Joseph. Indeed, you are more than that encounter. Its just there to shapen you and put you back on the track. Without the prison experience for Joseph, there won't be the manifest of the palace.
May God see you through all the ugly ordeals you are going through in Jesus name.
Good Morning. Wishing you a beautiful day at work.
