- Total Transformation
Mathew 17:1-6: And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
As the year is running to an end, success minded people have started penning down ways their life could experience brighter transformation in the years ahead.
Our Lord Jesus on the mount of transfiguration experienced five major changes.
The first change Jesus experienced was His face did shine. He had a shinning face. This is talking about our vision, pursuit and goal.
You need to see it before you can have it. Our strategy needed to be changed, especially if we really desire change and transformation.
Beloved, you need a tangible vision to work with in order to get to your desired haven.
The first change that would enhance our advancement and transformation is the change of our vision. You can't go far beyond the scope of your vision.
Number two change Jesus experienced was His raiment changed and became white. In Ecclesiastes 9:8, the Bible says, "Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment."
A. We must have a right attitude to God, Word, Prayer and Meditation.
B. We must change our attitude towards people and family.
C. We must have a good attitude towards our parents. It is your duty to care them. Buying expensive casket when they die is a waste if you fail in your prerogative to look after them now that they need you. Remember, life is give and take. Whatsoever you sow today shall surely be reaped in a little time.
The third experience of Jesus was a change of company. A change of relationship. Peter and John accompanied Him but new set of people came to relate with Him.
You need people who would bring motivation and encouragement for your transformation. Move with the right class of people, godly in nature to motivate you in achieving your desired goals. These are people who could challenge and motivate you.
Jesus had been hearing from people but God spoke and instructed people to hear Him.
The fourth thing you need to be cognizance of is the voice of the master. Strive to hear Him and listen to His instructions.
The fifth experience was He had His location changed. There may be need to look at you location and effect the necessary change. God instructed Elijah to change his location from the brook to Zarephath.
I trust God to give you significant visions in the pursuit of your destiny and career in Jesus name.
God bless you.
Do have a blessed and glorified new week!
Stay blessed!
